How to dry my buds?

than k you I have one and its breathable so I was hoping it would work. would you still put a fan in there

ya but I stillgrowing in that tent just worried bout growing with lights on sense it is my first grow and temps are pretty steady around 78-80 because its so hot right now where I live.

Bright light does degrade THC, its recommended that cannabis be cured/dried in a dark or dimly lit space.
also yes you can use your storage closet, if it has shelves and no room to hang use some brown
paper bag or similar to line the shelf. Then lay them on gently (not on top of one an other).
Then just turn them daily. I say use paper bag to line the shelf because you don't want your resin glands to stick to the fabric ect. Make sure it gets a lil airflow as well, if its in a closet, cracking the door open a lil will do fine.

i make oil from it i have never had any problems it de grades the longer it is flowered , well it changes the effects it has on the mind body.it becomes a different kind of stoned effect more coutch lock.it starts to degrade the minute the plant is taken down.i dont smoke it in bud form hash sift or mainly oil i do a lb batch it last me 3 month.i aint one for smokeing bud i just want the stuff the bud is carrying the meds.
I have said it before i do not grow for any money benefits or for any other reason than just to help medical wise

That where all these comments got out of hand i have a light on in the room but dimmed because i have other plants in that room.i think the dude early thought i just had chucked a room togeather its on a thermo has soon has it gets above 20 air conditioner and out take increase,my bud has never tasted like lawn clipping but get what ya saying,i smoked some of this best bud in the world in jamaca dried under the suns rays.

I don't know about you but i don't have a seperate room with full odour and climate control to dry in, even if i did I would be flowering in it. Producing some nice bud can be as simple or complicated as ya want it to be. Chop em, trim em, hang em up, get ya new batch going. Prolonged exposure to light will degrade pretty much anything organic, a few days drying in the same room as ya lights does no harm in my opinion.

I'll add Jorge Cervantes' method of speed drying. While NOTHING beats the taste of an evenly dried and cured nug - by a long shot, there is something you can do if you're dying to get a feel for potency.
1)Take your nug and place it on a ceramic plate; kitchen plate.
2)Cover with a few pieces of paper towel or something similar like unscented tp.
3)Place your precious buds in the microwave
4)Pelt it with microwaves on high for 8 seconds.
5)Remove and fan dry the bud/s with a piece of cardboard, etc, etc.
6)Wipe off water on plate that has accumulated from the bud
Repeat quickly until bud doesn't leave any more water on the plate.
I usually repeat this 10-15 times for a few grams of dried bud. Trichomes will not burst and the flavor is acceptable.

its just a way to dry it quick, he did include the taste wouldnt be nearly as good, nor would the final product. however if i was looking to get a quick taste i would dry it right next to my dehumidifier with a fan directly on it but not on full power, also have it broken up as much as possible. this way can take a few hours but its much quicker than the 3-5 days of hanging and 3 weeks of cure, but like any rushed method your final product will be nothing like a batch that was done right.

Okay so ur gonna need a match, a cardboard box, a blow dryer, 1 super vortex 50,000 cfm turbo nitrous fan, a copy of the daily news, 2 kittens and a pogo stick. It works for me. Feel free to message if u have any questions

But in all seriousness man its not complicated, just find a place thats dark where u could hang em, have good air circulation just dont blow the air directly on the buds and once the stems become somewhat brittle (some people wait till they are completely brittle but i prefer a wee bit of moisture) throw them suckers into jars loosely and burp for the first week

Shallow cardboard boxes lined with newspaper. Space your colas\buds out some (in other words try to reduce contact betwixt them, obvious to most but not all). You could put the box in a paper bag. They also sell hanging 'dry-nets', that you could hang in your tent or elsewhere.
The more you can trim them, the faster they should dry (untrimmed will dry slower). Circulation from a nearby fan will also speed drying times. Use Damp-Rid in the closet or small space you're drying in if the air is humid. Don't wait too long to jar, do it before they are totally dry and toast. Smaller stems may snap, larger ones still bend for the most part but the outside of the buds should feel crispy. Obviously larger nugs take longer to dry out. If you're jarring and you know they are still moist, put a paper bag atop the jar instead of sealing right away. Do this as well if you seal a jar and come back to find the buds still moist. Don't pack them tightly in the jar, best to leave some air spaces for even curing (otherwise the bottom buds may retain more moisture).
