how to flush ? help please

Some of my plants are showing signs of over-fertilization.
I want to flush my plants but i don't know how to, there are so many tutorials but none of them shows the actual process, at least i can't understand any of 'em.
If i put so much water into them to flush, won't they suffer from over watering ?
how to exactly do it ?

Overwatering is not allowing medium to dry between watering. Always water heavy then let soil dry before repeat. No runoff = salt buildup. Always get runoff when watering to rinse old feed.

I don't know your set-up but lets just say I have a plant in a 5 gallon bucket that has a fert build-up and needs a good flush. I would use 10 gallons to flush the 5 gallon bucket. Let it dry for a few days then use another 10 gallons. I would do this for no more than 4 times to get all of the salt out of your medium. Now if your looking to flush at the end of harvest, well there are a lot of differing ideas about this process but in my opinion I think flushing for weeks is crazy. I believe that plants that are near harvest need to pack on as much weight and trichomes as possible and too much water at this late time is not going to do you any good I will feed only water and carbs for the last week. Curing is much more important to get a good tasting and burning bud IMO. Good Luck Dude

I agree
The ideas about flushing often have very little to support them.
You cannot 'taste' nutrients in well dried and cured buds.
