how to harvest a pound using cfls?plz help!!!!

im trying to win this bet. my friend bet me that i couldnt harvest a pound in 5 months. he told me if i did he would pay me $4000$ for it if i won. im not losing dis shit so im gonna need riu's help. da catch to this bet is i have to use cfls and i have 10 shiva shanti seeds to work with. and there not feminized but i have some bagseeds just incase i have shitty luck.i have to use 42 watt cfls but theres no limit on how many i can have. so im willin to invest 200 in it if i have to. plz leave infokiss-ass
 
you better get cracking son..... use coco and advanced nutrients and the biggest brightest cfl grow lights you can find.....you might even end up with ovr a pound

use hid but put out cfls when he comes over to see it.
then only let him look like once a month.
 
not that serious of a bet. a little over 3 oz a month. please come to the table with a real bet not childs play

4-42w over 2 plants = over 3oz multiplied by 5 hopefully get a pound and thats 20 42w cfls which will cost $200, but i just had my morning bowl so who knows.

You guys forgetting it will take 3 months to get the first one or what? This was a dumbass bet. Just use a 600w or 1000w lamp and you'll have it stomped.

Use HPS, then when it's all done, sell it to someone else for $3500, because it'll be worth the $500.00 not to deal with that shit. And who would pay $4000.00 for a lb of leafy shitty buds? I guess that's why they call it losing. Gotta love when EVERYONE loses.

veg for 2/12 months then flower for 2/1/2 months, when i said multiple by 5 i meant 5 boxes or sets of lights
 
Keep the updates goin. This has my attention. At least till the next bowl. Seems like alot of bud with not much time or $ for lights.
 
16 plants in 10" pots
2-42w2700k+1-26w6500k in 12" reflector above each (1760w total)
50 days veg (topping above the 4th node)
70 days flower

Use this setup for the entire grow. If you're not using clones, and you've got the seeds, start 64 plants in 6" pots under the same reflectors. Re-pot into 10" after sexing, keeping the 16 best.

Worthless way to do it. 50 days of veg? 3 lights in reflectors above the plants? Never going to work. Why veg giant plants when CFL's can't penetrate very far and why keep the lights right above for the same reason.

The only way you are going to get to a lb is with some kind of perpetual so you can get 2 harvests.

I say go hydro (need the faster growth). Start from seeds and they should be good to go in about 6 weeks. Take 2 cuttings from each plant before putting them into flower (lower branches, they won't get any light anyway). Should take about 10 days for those to root, in the meantime you should have sex down on all of the original plants. Destroy the males and destroy the clones that came from the males. Let the remaining clones veg and flower them when the orginal plants are done @ about 14 weeks. The second batch should be done and all females so much more efficiently @ 22 weeks (or 5 months by my calculations).

I don't use CFL's, but this would be the best way to get as much bud as possible with as little light as possible in the that timeframe.

You'll need more than $200 worth of CFL's though. Gotta be more realistic. You aren't going to get a LB of dried marijuana from $200.00 worth of lights in 5 months.

I'll take some of his action if that's a stipulation.
 
Get see more buds 80z. for under a $100.00 it works I used this book with my first closet grow. got a little over 9oz. from 3 bid bud seeds in a little over 90 days.
 
I'd think that with Rosemans DWC/Bubbleponics setup and TWO harvests you could get it done. Not the best buds you'll ever see, but you might get that much weight. It's the $200 stipulation on lights, it really won't get you very far.

If you are doing this strictly to make the $4000.00, I would consider planting them in soil pots and lugging them from outside to inside under CFL's every day. Only using the CFL's to extend the daytime cycle. Then you could snap a LB off in 4-5 months no problem and collect your money.
