How to Harvest?

I am a complete beginner to growing and I don't quite know how to harvest the plant. Do you just cut a piece off and dry it and smoke it or something ???? I really don't know so any help would be great! ;]

Hey mate, get some good scissors, cut the top off the palnt and carefully trim away all fan and big leaves, basically you just want the bud left, sugar leaves i just take the tips off some, once done, hang that bad boy up to dry, in a dark place with a bit of air movement. ( i use my grow room with the lights off) for about 6 days or when ever your happy with it, then in to a jar for curing. Job done! You can smoke after drying btw, i just like to cure it, tastes better! This is very brief but hope it helps.

Without a scope to inspect trics, watch for teh white hairs receding into the bud adn swelling of calynx as a sign of done....but if possible, obtain a 60x (minimum) and check trics...milky is my rule of thumb....few clear and even fewer amber....good luck...

So you have to destroy the entire plant when you harvest?

Pretty much...that's why close inspection is needed....if you harvest part, allow to dry several days and find it's "just right"...that means the part you didn't harvest has matured a bit more and may not be the same....I personally inspect buds at high, low, and middle areas to get an avg of maturity adn cut every part at once.....but.... with harvesting 4-5 plants a month, I don't have the time (or desire) to partially cut and wait....good luck to ya....

So when i have harvested tht means i have to buy more seeds to have another plant. or does the plant drop seeds or something. I am completely new to this i dont wtf im doing lol ;]
