hey guys got a little issue. been messing around making some bubble hash from my trim but run into 2 problems. i either mix too hard and beat the clorofil out of the plant or i dont beat hard enough it seems and im left with material that still visibly has trichs on it. ive fully dried the trim AND froze it and still running into these issues.

so what are your tricks to keeping the green color out of your bubble hash? ive seen it done plenty with nice blonde hash but cant do it myself lol.
THANKS IN ADVANCE GUYS!

You won't get all the heads using ice water extraction, without also getting excess plant material.

If you want to get everything and have it be quality, it would be easier to kif off 10% or so using ice water and then remove the rest of the resin by other means.

Use a camping washing machine for a perfect mix every time.
And use one of these to clean your hash before taking it out of the bags.

i see how people use this to collect their hash and ive seen matt rize "wash" the clorofil out with one but how does this work any better than a slow stream from the sink? i can collect my hash with no problem but cant seem to wash the green out like ive seen matt do in his vids.

It should be ice distilled or RO water. I rinse (wash) with tap ice water and do a final rinse with distilled ice water. The spray is adjustable so that it is a medium to strong fan pattern to also be able to move your pile around the screen. Streached at the top of the bucket is optimal and you can see what you are doing.

Chlorophyll is actually not water soluble, but is conveyed in micelles. Washing over a screen can wash particles smaller than the screen through and convey micelles.

If your material is dried out just let it soak in the ice/water for 10-15 mins before agitation. I use an insulated machine for mine and if I come across dry trim I def let it soak for a little so it doesn't mash up and get thru my 220 work bag.

I didn't get much help either, trying to remove the plant particles after they were already harvested, but I didn't work it hard. Perhaps Matt can elaborate on how to use it properly?

Sprayer has more pressure than sink! If green then it's over agitated. Chill the sprayer water with ice too

Mix less, use only best starting material, and spray down pile collected in each bag with a pump sprayer...

that should minimize the green machine from cruzing around
