How to kill off all ants and pest???

I just trasplanted my plant and i noticed that there is red/white ants. Yes im sure there ants not pest. Anyways i wanna know if they will harm my little plant?? I dont like the fact of ants in my soil so if u have any good ways to get rid of them plz let me know. Will they eat my plants and kill them?

Ants usually don't harm plants, some do aphid farming and will kill any predator insects that are trying to eat aphids.

Buy some diatomaecous earth it will kill the ants for you. keepem green dirrtyd
