Ph. Baking powder is your friend with outbreaks of cob web mold.

See to it that the offending mycelium has not migrated through your substrate (it seems to like surfaces so...)

Scoop the outbreak with a sterile spoon and dispose of the contamination. Then sprinkle the area with baking soda and spray with water. You can also use 3 percent hydrogen peroxide. Keep up with your treatments, inspect the stuff every 4 hours. Yes, it can grow that fast.

If you can, or are willing, a second outbreak warrants disposing of your grow.

Pay attention to air circulation. It's the small variances. An overhang of some sort, a failure of airflow over your growing surface is what may initiate it.

It WILL infect your fruit. Pick those fruit and dispose of them, wash your hands and your tools.


You are lucky, this is a very controllable disease.
