Yeah no need to get all pissed over it there's many things you can use depending on size of the cfl bulb you can use any regular light socket. You could use a lamp kit, the sockets that plug directly into a power bar which is the easiest, I am using a floodlight kit for my 105w cfl or if you know any electrical you can just buy any socket and wire it using a lamp cord.
If you are using a bigger bulb I believe 125w + all use mogul base which you need to buy the mogul socket and they usually come wired ready to plug into the wall.

dont listen to this asshole just go to home depot those little sockets that plug into out let and the other side staright into cfl bulb are only like 2 dollars try alley #32 they should be their
