My wife's first attempt at growing, outdoors in Thailand. Plants are established, and need to start feeding them. Any help/ advice/ links appreciated, thank you. Have fertiliser, pH meter, will use bottled water for mix.

This fertilizer is low on potassium, and does not contain any calcium and sulphur and some micros. Are you going to put them into the ground or how?

The plants (6 inches high), are in plant pots at the moment, will put them in the ground when they are bigger. I was advised to use this fertilser in another (Thai) forum.

It might be too heavy on nitrogen than. If you gonna put it in ground, I would reconsider using this fertilizer. You may not need any if you have a good soil and space for roots. I guess your bigger concern will be pests than feeding plants in ground.

If you plan on growing in ground you should be amending the soil as needed if you are aiming for water only

The soil has a lot of clay in it. My wife (who's the gardener), grows bananas, mangos, lychees, pomegranites, and various other plants in the garden. I bought this fertiliser as it was recommended in another forum, by someone who grows marijuana here in Thailand. She has some pellets that she puts in the soil to keep bugs away, when she plants anything in the garden.
