HPS external light query

high can you use and external 400W HPS light inside without it over heating as they were designed for external use ???

come on someone must be able to advise me on my question above

you'll need some fine ventilation thats for sure - but yeah why the hell not!

There is no difference between lights made for inside and outside use.

the main reason i ask is because they do get hot and they are constructed into that casing to keep everything waterproof but they also have all that space outside for it to breath and cool down
i think i will drill some small holes in the rear of the light for ventilation just to be on the safe side cos i wouldnt want it to overheat or at worst catch fire..
