Any one try this. I took a few plants and put the bottom buds under led after I chopped the top. They were under led. The plants turned crazy colors black yellow purple and changed from smelling like kush to jolly ranchers Was best weed ever smoked anyone have a reason or understanding as to why? Maybe color spectrum change. Idk. Any input appreciated

NOPE ! color change and taste occur with maturity not a light change
I didn’t say light change. I said spectrum And they Do affect color and flavor. I’ve done same strain clones under hps and led for comparison. Led effects brings out color and increases flavor. That’s why the new light systems have both how and led. Have u ever done comparisons.

Wait...your post is a bit confusing. So you had the buds under LEDs, then harvested the top buds, THEN put the remaining buds under HPS to finish them, is that right? And you noticed the change in your buds after being under HPS for how long? Just curious.

You don't need to change the lighting to get plants to change color. Colored weed will change on its own when it's mature enough. Some show the coloring very early in the leaves as well. Not from cold, light changes, nutrient manipulation, but from genetics.

I also don't understand the fascination with colored weed. It looks nice but I personally feel it's usually lacking compared to green weed.
