HPS+MH For flower?

if your not careful, using both MH + HPS bulbs at the same time could rip a hole in the space time continuum, and we'd all be fudged

(actually, each bulb focuses on different ends of the spectrum, by combining you provide a more natural simulation of the sun. here's an interesting tidbit; when all spectrums are covered in simulating sunlight and "real" light is achieved, the human eyes will dilate, since we dont add the green spectrum as its not needed in growing plants thats rarely reached) ....i hear a beer callin me, hope that helps.

sounds believable

mh or cmh is best for veg

mh or cmh is best for first 1/3 of flower ............it reduces stretch
hps is best for second 1/3 of flower..................if in genetics will bring rock hard buds ( sumgenetics just do fluffy)
mh or cmh is best in final 1/3 of flower.............is best way to take advantage of final bulk up of finish

uvb will add to trich production will not add to potency - will be more production
wont go from 17% thc to 285% sorry
i used to use 2 x 250w earlyer and uvb adds greatly wit lower wattages
an stuck wit it now i use a 400w eye hortilux (hps) and a 250w cmh ( i think cmh smokes a mh)

Sounds good! CMH... I'll have to look into those, they sound awesome! So do those two bulb hoods!!! Mines only take one bulb, so half the garden is mh and the other half is hps... that's okay? You guy's mix them but your bulbs are side by side-- this case one bulb is in on hood and the other bulb is in the other hood on seperate sides of the jardinnnn.

I do the same thing. I have always done it and I do not know why. My plant will be directly under a 1kl and I will spin it a lilover a 1/4 turn every time. Always clockwise. It's a habbit that I have always had. Glad to know my compulsive behavior disorder is good for something ha. Peace
