hps vs mh

so i have a Yield Lab 400W digital dimmable electronic ballast its 110v-240v... can i safely run an MH bulb on this ballast? i currently have an HPS bulb. i dont know if this is enough info in order to give me an answer. let me know if theres anything im missing. or what i need to look at in order to determine this

in my experience if the ballast can take both it normally says on the ballast hps and mh does it say any info on your ballast as to what bulbs it uses at all im having a look now at the ballast you specified will get back in a bit if i can find any useful info to help u more

thanks a lot dude, i just confirmed with the maker that it does take both HPS and MH.... thanks for the effort dude

had a look and it appears that your ballast can take both Hps and Mh is this your ballast ?

if yes then yes u can use either as long as they are 400 w bulbs
