the guy answerd all my questions it was just his tone of voice, I was like hey man I need to exchange this fan I bought, and he was like what exchange?! like I was a retard (no arguments here ) I orderd too big of a fan, but I though bigger is better!!!11 but I was wrong
than I mentioned that neither one of the bulbs worked and they had smuge marks all over it and the boxs looked opened before, he just sounded like he didnt believe me, so I asked if I should send them back with the fan, thinking he would say no but that he would think I was less of a lier? and he said yea send them back well check them out ( sounds like they want to resel them , or maybe they give them to the company and say bad bad light people!!!! eitherway I feel like a chump, I was at my fucking local hydro store the other day but everything their is twice as much as it is at htg so I usualy just buy what I absolutly need from them and whatever can wait from htg, I should have bought at least one bulb from my local guys

im pretty sure its the company they ship threw i've never had any problems with HTG but i'm only 1 1/2 hrs away so they dont have to ship that far........

I'm less hrs away too which is why I blame them!
and the external packaging is fine its the internal packaging thats screwed, and not even just the box inside the box its the box inside the box inside the box!!! I dont think ups did anything wrong other than drop the package once maybe and this isnt the first time Ive gotten damaged goods two of the three 400 W ballasts I bought from them looked fucked but work so I didnt complain, they were all dented scratched and dusty, I've read of alot of people had this problem with them. I love them but they just need to change just a few things.

You know I just dropped another $600 on two 1000 watters and decided for the first time to go through them, seeing as how I just now stumbled on there intensly low prices.

This thread is making me realize that as much as I have praised these guys, I am chittering my teeth thinking there gonna fuck me here,

that is seriously poor work ethic, even if they want to blame it on the fact that they are the nations largest supplier of hydroponic equipment.

How many thousands a year do you think they make in people that eat the costs and dont ship back non working bulbs, or this or that??

I mean does that guy just want to be glued to a phone all day saying sure ship it back, and having to pay twice the shipping cost?

Maybe that offsets those that dont send back.

What is with HTG and there 50/50 service and goods?

So, playing Mr. Obvious here, I'm still wondering how exactly HTG varies from every other company in the world? People either have great experiences, or shitty experiences with each and every company around....just the way it goes.

ok spend 350 on the exact same product that cost 240.

When you need alot of equip. 350 adds up much quicker than 240 and its for the same thing

Trust me I shop around like a MOFO before I buy anything even shoelaces.

i dont think that this is anything new for any growing related site, whether we are talking about seed or equipment and supplies. and to play devils advocate thats the chance that you take when your buying supplies to support our illegal hobby/profession. they know it and we know it, so if they are able to put up with a little bad word of mouth what do they care?
personally i have only ordered once from them and was completely satisfied when my stuff arrived.

and btw i like to use my U.S. House of Representatives logo lighter when i smoke
