ehhhh...matters what your using...some products need a specific PH to be mixed in and fully take effect (Master A & B needs to be in between 5.5-6.5 and mixed in volumes of no less then 5 gallons of water at a time...got that straight from their Grow Tech)

different strokes for different folks but you should always ask too many questions about a product before you use it rather than not enough...could mean life and death to a crop, or not reach potential

blah

really? like your saying if you mix product "X" with 7.0 ph an then adjust it, wont be the same end product as if you did it the other way? or is product "X" formulated so that after being mixed with 5.5-6.5 its already at the optimum Ph. and they say you cant mix more than 5 gal at a time? so you have to mix 4 batches to fill a 20 gal rez?

not arguing, just curious...

So Im thinking purple maxx slows down the flowering a bit...I have long white hairs on the plant w/o PM and the plants with PM have curly white hairs...Mad trichs tho...the plant has a white tint to it, and the other one is just lush green. I hope the nugs swell up..Im gonna apply gravity in like 2 weeks.

Im gonna feed my 4 of my girls bushmaster today...They are gettin so tall!! When I apply bm I feed her 16 oz of just water and BM. I mix a tsp into a gal of water. making a big batch this time cus I have more plants to feed. Then I will flush her after 6 hours..start 12/12 then in 3-4 days repeat. That should stop all vert growth and start flowering immediately.

smoke report---- the bud i grew with the gravity tastes the same as the bud i grew without it. the buds are as dense as weed gets and it still tastes great!

i didnt do a side-by-side, but i think it did indeed add weight. my Northern Lights used to be pretty fluffy, dank as shit but fluffy. i used the gravity this last round with molasses and my shit is a little bigger, WAY harder, and it almost tastes better certainly not worse like i was warned about. great success, i will def use it again!

no add nutes first then ph
thats how your soposed to do it, but i guess theres some brands of nutes now that the instructions say to ph 1st then add nutes. i guess if you know what you nutes are gonna be every time you could ph the water first.

the nutes that say that are prolly already comprised to equal a certain ph in phd water.. still if you mix em slightly wrong the ph might be off so i would still suggest doing ph afterwards.. the composition of the nutes is not nearly as important as the ph balance

I know this thread is out dated but I had to bring to the attention of the reader that Humboldt Nutrients and Humboldt County's Own are 2 DIFFERENT companies. The people who make Gravity, Bushmaster, and Purple Maxx are the owners of a hydroponic store named Eel's River Hydroponics(Humboldt's Own). Don't want anyone reading who doesn't know get it wrong. I read this whole thread and it seems that the people in this thread are under the assumption that Humboldt Nutrients and Humboldt's Own, are the same company. The maker's of Master A&B DON'T make Gravity, BM, Nor PM. Peace!

I was thinking the exact same thing, these are two different companies. I use Humboldt Nutrients Organic Line for soil and master A & B for hydro. I've had good results with both.
