Humboldt Seed Organization's OG Kush and SickMed's Chupacabra

I haven't seen anyone grow these out on here so I figured I would do a journal focusing on just a Humboldt Seed Orginization's OG Kush and SickMed's Chupacabra. I have 1 fem seed of each and both cracked, have been put into their cups, and now I'm just waiting on them to show themselves.

Medium is 80% coco, 20% perlite, with lime and Diatomaceous Earth
Fertilizer will be Veg+Bloom from Hydroponic Research, got a sample so first time with these ferts. Also PK 13/14, Calmag+ if needed.
Veg is 300w of LED
Flower is 1000w in my 4x4 tent

Once they sprout I will veg them until first hair then take clones from the bottom 1/4 of the plants 2 days before they flower. I have been running strictly Delicious seeds for the past 2 years and wanted to try some new gear for the new year. I have 2 special phenos from Delicious that I will be keeping but the others will go.

Before anyone goes off the deep end about HSO's OG Kush being real or not I wouldn't know anyway, never had OG but I have had Bubba Kush. Their version of OG is "Emerald OG x Fire OG", whatever those may be, I just want a superb kush. I have heard good and bad just like with many other seed companies so I will see for myself. I chose the SickMed's Chupacabra because I liked her genetics of "The Wreck x Strawberry Fire", sativa dom, and I like doing strains others aren't doing. Cool name too ;).

Details of the strains can be found below at http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/OG_Kush/Humboldt_Seed_Organisation/ and http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Chupacabra/SickMeds_Seeds/

Feel free to tag along and post but please keep things civil and on topic and a Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Nothing to show at this time but the cups

Thanks and welcome aboard! I actually picked up 2 seeds from several HSO strains so I'm set for awhile and will enjoy growing them all out.

Diatomaceous Earth keeps any bugs at bay in my mix. Haven't had problems with bugs for years since adding DE to my soils

thx BC .i'll keep that mix in mind, where did you get yures?
$8 to $10 a 4lb bag at Home Depot, Lowe's, or Ace Hardware and most garden centers should have it just under different labels. I add 2 cups per cu. ft. to my soil mix. It kills all the creepy crawlers as well as adds silica to your soil. I also dissolve 2 tbl spoons of DE per gallon into my ferts the first watering of flower and once again at week 4.

I've had great luck with HSO's Blue Dream, so I decided to try out there Pineapple Skunk and their Dr. Greenthumb's Emdog this time around. So far they have grown great without any deficiencies. They are only on Day 21 of 12/12, so they are just getting their popcorn buds with a little bit of frost on them. Anyways I am curious to see how their OG Kush turns out for you. Good luck!

Thanks for the details KB! I have the Pineapple Skunk, Sour Blueberry and Blue Dream in the fridge for future runs. I looked long and hard at the Emdog but I just can't bring myself to spend over $20 on any seed. Spending $10-12 was hard enough

ns..are yu using led?and how many watts?
Yes I'm using 300w of LED running 24/7 for clones and veg. I run a 120w 5 band generic from ebay and 180w Hydroponics Hut 7 band. The 180w is typically just running the veg switch for clones and seedlings while the 120w takes care of the veg side. With both running as pictured (veg only on the 180w) the whole tent including the fan pulls 206w and works perfect for my perpetual grow.
