Humidifier or Dehumidifier

I've read a lot about using dehumidifiers as they help the leaves become thinner with more resin as the leaf thinks it is drying out. However in these forums there has been alot of talk about using humidifiers in their grow rooms to help keep moisture levels up.

Which is best??:-?

When you get it rite you'll need a dehumidifier. My first grow was a true night mare... and I thought i needed a humidifier and even sought them out.... but in the end you'll need a DE humidifier.
In the begining (early veg) some just (only)use an intake fan to cool the room and bring in new air.... leaving the out take fan off so it doesn't suck out the humidity as your plants in veg can use and like high humidity rooms (there is no smell problems in early veg).... scaling back the humidity at bloom to 50 - 60 percent and maintaining that during the "night" with a dehumidifier and oscillating fans to keep powdery mildew in check as it thrives in high humidity and acidic environments.
hope that helps

you need high RH for grow, low RH for bloom
