Humidity Problems in the Northeast

So we have not only been dealing with a hot summer, but a very very humid one. This past week in particular has been 92-100% humidity every single day, with not much of a break at night. I have my ladies flowering from 7pm to 7am to help deal with the daytime heat, and I have more than enough exhaust as well as optional intakes (1000cfm total exhausts 500cfm intake) The normal temp range is 72-79 F and the humidity from 49-64%. This week I have been opening my grow room door to RH of 84-91% Once the light comes on (1000w HPS) it acts as a Dehumidifier and the RH drops to 50-54% within 25 minutes. I am worried about the effect that this level of humidity will have on these budding plants (3 weeks in). What do you think? Will the 8 hours of 80% humidity be enough to cause PM or other rot issues? Even with the tremendous amount of air exchange (enough CFM to clear the room every minute!). Please do not suggest a Dehumidifier it is not an option Thanks in advance for your thoughts and positive comments.

Why not a dehumidifier ? don't understand if high humidity is your problem. how abt an AC ?

Electricity, money, and it is overkill for 98% of the year

can try damp rid from walmart or homedepot. Also hurd rice and cat litter works

Today I opened the door and it was 67% RH... I feel really releaved... it was a little less humid today but not by much. I only had the full exhausts operating with no direct intake.

do you have fans blowing air on your plants?? a few oscillating fans should do the trick

just get a dehum plants stop growing or slow growth at a humidity that high only have it on for when lights are out you obviously need it 200$ or risk getting mold up to you

Thats all you really need to do to control mold.
5 or 6 weeks to go and you should have no problems.

yep I have a 240 cfm booster fan drawing air from my 1000 watt light... I have an inline 740cfm fan pulling the hot air from the top of the room and exhausting it. There are 2 standing oscillating fans at root and plant height, and when needed I have a 500 cfm intake (which is closed due to the humidity). It should be fine since it was only 2 or 3 days where for a few hours the humidity crept up to 80% or so, with the temps hovering around 70-77F which is pretty good. I just wanted to see if anyone else was having a similar experience. Sorry but imho adding a heating element (Dehumidifier) is not a prudent thing to do during such a hot summer, and as I said I dont have the money to waste on it. Thanks for the thoughts everyone!
