Hydro Grow - Drain before harvest to increase resin ? Harvest Questions

Hello, I have a DWC going and searched but didn't find enough info online. Has it been proven to increase resin/potency by draining buckets 1 or 2 days before harvest, forcing the plant to use whatever nutrients it has and forces it to increase resin production ? any info about the darkness before harvesting....read it is a myth.

Also my plants have some amber trichs on top but still growth on bottom not ready...anyone ever chop the top and leave the lowers to continue growing? would this stress force the lower half to go hermie? Any info will help, im chopping within a couple days. Its definetly ready, puts me on my ass when I smoke it.

What should humidity be when they are drying? I just put a de-humidifier in.

hey did u ever get an answer to this question? i also thought of this idea of draining the buckets b4 harvest. i was thinking about emptying the bucket and putting into dark for the last day or two..
