Hydro or Soil?

well for a first time grower i would suggest soil as it is more forgiving. it hold the nutrients longer than soilless mediums so u dont have to be as on top of ur feeding regimen with soil. but hey maybe one of these hydro enthusiasts can coonvince u otherwise but i say go soil.

Unless, you've grown veggies with hydro or are an experienced grower, go with soil. Soil is WAAAAAY more forgiving. I grow my weed in soil, but I do have a hydro garden on my patio (currently growing peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, and some morning glories!) its fun but its more expensive and more effort. Fun for the gardening enthusiast but if your a first time grower, and just want some good easy buds to learn how to grow, one answer . . . SOIL!!!

thats what I was thinking. Is there a difference in quality compared to growing hydro?
Quality is essentially the same. The quality of the buds has so many factors that are effected while they are growing that its more of a preference for soil or hydro rather then one method more effective then the other. The only thing is hydro growing tends to finish slightly quicker.

I actually have something similar to the hempy buckets, not exactly the same, set up on my vegetable garden outside. It works really well but it is still more effort, especially to set up, then soil growing. Produces a nice result, never tried it with weed, but if your a first timer, id recommend a soil grow, unless you've been growing veggies and other things for a bit and just happen to be starting a weed grow. They are more complicated if you are not already a gardener. But they are a sweet way to grow stuff. I might try to grow weed that way eventually.
