Hydrofarm ballast to non hydrofarm light?

I have a Hydrofarm Lumatek digital ballast, is their anyway I can use this with my C.A.P brand light?

I saw some adapters on ebay for 6$ like SBBAR or SBBAP had some good pics with them- maybe that would do the trick ?

I have a 600v male lock and seal cord, but it is Sun System brand. Would that work? Here's my socket and here the output cord:






How do I hook this up?

There are adapters at most hydro stores and whatnot. 6$ here in town. Just make sure to get the right one...CAP female to HF male or HF female to CAP male.

1 of my Ballast is a next gen ballast and I have Hydrofarm hoods you have to get a pig adapter any grow shop carries hydro farm equipment will have 1

yup I had to get one for $7^^^^^ I use a jd ballast with hydrofarm hoods too

Or just cut the stupid ass ends off and wire the power cords together... What a pain in the ass these stupid custom power cords have been... Greed, it ruins everything.

u can always just match the colors and tape over the green one, not advised, but can be done no problem it will work lol

Hard wire unless you want to sell it later.

Still kinda lost though. This is how it goes Hydrofarm Input Cord>Lumatek Ballast>Sun System 600v male lock and seal>C.A.P Mogul/Socket

Is it alright to use the sun system cord? Or am I going to have to buy something? What exactly should I buy, my hydro store only have Sun System and Hydrofarm adapters, no C.A.P.

It is bullshit , these manufactures do not want us to plug and play with nothing but there own products hence the different cords .. Imagine if it was this way with DVD players and other Aux items

My hydro store only carries Sun system and HF adapters/sockets.

Can you go into more detail. I'm a D.I.Yer but I don't know much about indoor growing.

I see what you're saying nowing but nah those two in the second pic are the same color

there is only 2 different connection types...Hydrofarms and everything else. so if it is sun systems it is the same as cap.
