Hello!

I have a problem my soil is not absobring water in a good way. Its mostly peat based soil and it have become dry as a bone some inches down even when i water it.

What should i do? I have never have this problem (bought bad soil). I have heard dishsoap can help or putting it on a tray bottom feed. Or just simply put the whole plant in a bigger container.

Please Help / Flodas !

If it's not too close to the main stalk + not a large area of the medium that's become hydrophobic, you can take a stainless steel or bamboo skewer + stab into the dry spot a couple times before watering.
Don't stab close to the main stalk or too deep, and just a few times to make channels for water to get to the dry spot.
A drop of Dawn in the water isn't a bad idea either.

Skewer the hell out of it. Especially under the plant. You will not hurt it. Repeatedly all over the container and especially all the way to the bottom. Bamboo skewers are standard equipment in my grow.
