Hydroponic need help with cal mag

this is my first time doing dwc in 5 gallon with air stones. I got my nutrients all ready to go. But how much cal mag by emerald harvest 2-0-0. N-P-K
Should i add. First week of seedling i gave 5ml to one gallon. Seems to do fine. Or should i add it to couple more gallons as well.

I would suggest following the directions on the back. Its usually 5 mil a gal.

Ok. So as my understanding is that you add 5ml to each gallon of water. So all 5 gallons of water should have 5ml of cal.. or is that to much

For a 5 gal bucket ill got with 4 gallons of nutrient solution @ 4gal x 5 mil = 20 mil.

Some folks even go lighter at 1/4 of all nutes until they plant ask for more.

I suggest you buy a good EC meter and learn to use it.

what ever the directions are cut it in half for all nuts you use and how much call mag depends on the water as in city, water well hard or soft? water RO water i use well water but have good well water not to hard and come out of the tap a 195 PPM so i really dont use cal mag unless i see signs of it being needed this is for my home grows

Trust me i got one. Iv been using it on my first and second batch. Just first time doing dwc. Dont wanna waste some good sativa plants away. But thanks for the advice.

Then learn to pay attention to the EC instead of counting on exact teaspoons or whatever. That’s the point in recommending it. But I have a feeling you already know far more than me.
