hydroponics vs soil (temperature question)

So I'm very new to growing! Temperature in my country is very hot and tropical. Which medium is more ideal for my heat situation? Drip water system (the submersible pump might make the water too hot?) Or plain old soil?

What kind of light are you going to be using? How big is your space? Can you afford the extra $ on your bill from running it 24/7? Do you have power outages? Are you prepared to buy a ph/ppm meter?

my grow closet is pretty small! 2L x 1W x 4H ft. Under 2 100w LED lights with a 12.5L container for my dwc! And yes, i already do have the meters and am prepared for the bills! Im just looking at feasibility now. This is gonna be my first grow. Gonna run before learning to walk. Haha.

If it's your first time and your in that small of an area.. Why not hand water?? Fill a 5 gal bucket with your water and nutrients.. Check water temp.. If it isn't 64-68F , add ice cubes. Good to go
