mmm LA con... she's one of my favorite flavors but grew oh so
slowly so i only got to enjoy her a few times a year. how do these
IG panels yield in terms of g/w hyroot?
I don't go by gpw. Too many variables especially when I have multiple different strains each trained differently too. This last harvest I got 22 zips off 2 lights. Last harvest I got 24 zips. This last time I had less plants. But got more per plant.

Thats pretty good considering you are not scrogging or in hydro man! Plus all that trim to run in the bubble machine. FYI i am convinced the red pontoons help out the IG alot. I am gonna do something similar with my led bars and supplement wiht far red and a 730nm trigger. :-)

Hope your well out there! Been cooling off here at the base of the mountain. Hoping my outdoor last till they are done or I build a mini green house... LOL

Hey HY! I wanted to throw this out there since you know quite a few more folks than I. I am interested in picking up any broken led panels people may have. I could probably cough up 20$ each. I am not looking to fix panels but want some cases to use for R&D projects and figured... wTH.. LOL I posted in want ads on CList too but thought you may know people with some expensive paper weights.

I'm convinced they do a lot as well. I'm really interested in seeing the difference with the 730's, but I really have no basis for comparison in my room. Building something from the ground up around induction and LED tech, I'm excited to get it all dialed in.

all my friends outside of riu that grow use hps. They talk shit on my grow. Saying my lights are a joke and are just circus lights. I recently convinced 2 friends to use CMH. They like it. No led users.

that's kind of disappointing for how big the footprint is. probably won't be a
tech that makes it long term because as the cost of real estate goes up per
square foot, growers will naturally select lights that yield higher per square
foot, with respect paid to electrical draw as well. i used to run 22 strains, so
i feel you on having yields drop because of variety of flavor.

Kind of why I want to hit it with another 200W from CXA3070's to see if I can beef that out a little. The other advantages of the light speak for themselves.

keep in mind I'm not growing blue dream or any hazes. If Genie grew all 9lb instead of blue dream. His yield would be half of what is and same for positivity. I'm about flavor, quality and trichome development. I don't like blue dream at all. All of SoCal was flooded with it for years like train wreck used be. I just got really sick of it. Plus I don't like that floral / soapy flavor..

All the big yield led grows on here have been with blue dream and northern lights.

There's other factors. My R/H has been extremely low. Lots of bud flop that wasn't staked properly. Plants were originally trained for scrog. Then didn't set up scrog. Plus a couple pest invasions.

I'm still doing pheno hunts of seeds I got last Feb. And new strains. Still figuring out which training method works best for each strain.

Still playing with light schedules via 730. Last round was 12/12. Before was 12/12-13/11-12/12 this round is 12/12 -13/11 and next will be straight 13/11. I think the ig's do better with running longer days. To hit the minimum daily mole requirement needed..

I also do living organics. If I used bottled nutes. I may have had larger yields. But lower quality. Again I'm all about quality. I've seen splifferous hit a half pound per plant 1 pound per light with scrog using ig's. He was using 3 ig's to cover the same area that I am with 2 lights.

I'll be doing most of the same things, SCROG and living soil, 730 and the 660 boosters. I have a buddy doing about 1.5oz per Gal. in organics, and the stuff he has under LED is even fatter than the HPS right next to it. Although, he's really really dialed in on his strains at this point.

The key thing there is dialing in that strain. Of course yield depends mostly on genetics..

It takes a minimum of 4 - 5 grows imo to know a strain pretty well. Clones grow very differently than seeds do. Especially when the recessive traits come out completely changing the strain. For me this last round was the first with clones. This round 2 plants are the first for clones. 3 plants are from seed. 2 plants are clones that I got from a friend and Im growing them for my first time.

Absolutely. I don't disagree. I probably won't start from seed until my third run, just to make sure I have things running ok, but I know that's not going to work to my advantage when it comes to the training methods I'd like to employ. Still, I am inclined to believe that an addition of the CXA could be very beneficial without adding much heat and being very efficient in it's energy production. Also have seen great things with multi-source lighting.

some quick healthy medibles. Peanut butter oatmeal hash cookies.

1 cup pureed oatmeal
1/2 cup organic peanut butter
1/4 cup coconut sugar
2 tbsp RO water

1.5 grams of 120u hash or dry sift

mix altogether. I used a food processor. It's faster. Then cook at 350 for 11 min.

the normal cook temps don't seem to affect the high with hash like it does with butter.

the Tga descriptions are not very accurate. Only describes yield of one pheno. The first batch of seeds had a different father plant than the 2nd batch of seeds that were released. The 2nd batch I'm doing looks like it may yield more. The first round of seeds are small yielders. Alot of people got hermies from the first batch. Luckily I didn't. The first round of seeds grow very similar to sinmint cookies. Quality wise . They're dank as fuck
