Build a soil carries the earth boxes too. They might be cheaper. I think there's a promo discount code for it too. I'll check when I get home.
what i liked most about the earth box was the short height, i couldnt find any rubber maid storage containers that were 11 inches tall, and I only have 4 feet to work with after the fan and light, and false floor, have to keep stealth,, so the earth box at 29 wide 14 deep and 11 tall was just perfect for my short grow cab,, but YOU my friend sold me on the sip method, and I will put a airpump into the res, like you do

I was at inda gro the other day and this is one of the aquaponics gardens..
Someday I would love to have an aquaponic cannabis set up. I took a tour at a large commercial aquaponics company growing basil, I'd be happier doing it as a hobby I think. Keeping Tilapia in dark tanks just to keep the algae down was not my idea of warm and fuzzy. I'd be more into it for the elegance of a closed system where hopefully everyone is living a decent healthy life.

The tank is outside the room the plants sit in a tray that floods and drains

They have several tanks all over the outside of the building. They have outdoor veggies that are aquaponics too.

They have koi, bass, blue gill

The other room has hydro buckets

Very cool set up! I've only seen the one so far (in person), so that's my total exposure. Do they keep their fish in dark tanks?

Sad Fish?
Obviously you've never seen American Dad, its a scientific fact that fish can talk.

No the tanks are white and sit outside uncovered. A couple tanks are in the shade. You can see the tank in one of the pics behind the roma tomato plant.

Here's another

That's cool. I was told algae would compete with the "crop" plant for nutrients and had to be discouraged, which means minimal light. I thought that's what plecostomus are for. :) I'm sure there are other ways to get there.
