I am Delivering Pitbull Puppies

I am sitting here stoned in my shed right now, waiting on my pit bull to have her pups... She is day 57 of her pregnancy. I have never done this before but it says that she can be in labor for 6-18 hours... So I am bored and kinda stressed out.

Anybody want to humor me... I figured what a better way to pass the time than to start a thread and get some feed back from my favorite community.

Anyone had any Experience or have suggestions?
Im going to be up all night...:eyesmoke:

You've never done a whelp before? How far along into labor is she? Do you see any placenta?

If this is the bitch's first whelp AND the owner's, it could be a long night. I hope she delivers well, because I'm going to be signing off soon. I do want to be sure you've got the information you need, so I'm gonna stay signed on for a while.

I've done whelps, foalings, queenings, and whatever you call it when hamsters have babies.

They are a Sorrell Old Family Red Nose x CH Chinaman ROM. Cross...

But no i have never done this before. I dont see any placenta, but she has been nesting for 2 days now, and she has been panting tonight hardcore. i have her in her whelping box and she has been restless, digging, and walking in circles for about 3 hrs now.

You gonna be on for a while, see if the OP needs any help? My back is killing me and I've taken a sample bud, which will probably put me to sleep. But I can stay up for a whelp/foaling/queening if need be.

How do pits normally handle whelpings? They seem to be built well enough for it, not overly large or anything like that.

Oh yes, definitely, you're right. That dog looks like a really well-built dog.

Ok, she may want to move out of the box. If she goes into the closet, I would let her, I'm assuming this is her first whelp, too. Just have LOTS of towels, they'll wash up in cold water (don't use hot, it cooks the blood in).

Good vid, but I think they skipped the sac bit of the first pup. Did the bitch clean it off or did the people help by pulling it off? I didn't watch the whole thing, I'm watching some show about this Indonesian fellow who has these huge growths all over his body, especially his feet and hands, and I think he's called the Tree Man or something like that.

I assume that if Hillbilly's not posting that s/he's with the bitch.

Its 4am and no pups yet... I've been up all night taking her out to piss and watching the pups kick around in her belly.
