i am new at this and have a question for expierenced people

my plant is about a week and a half old and is growing seemingly spectacular! she is growing two ridged leaves and little tiny ones are starting to grow too, but the bottom leaves are smooth and round, what is this?

These are called cotyledons and the first pair are allways round.

they'll go yellow and die off after some time but thats normal so don't freak out, its just that they hold nutrients for the plant so that it survives with its tiny seedling root system so eventually they run out and die off when the plant has finished using them

They are the cotyledons and will fall off/picked off much later in her life cycle.

your growing from seed. this is a normal. what you need to keep an eye out for is to realize if it male or female. if its male then throw it in the trash. if its female then you can clone her and all your cloned ones will be female. if you dont know how to clone than i can let you know. good luck

alright and yeah idk how to so i would love to know, do you know how early i can tell if male or female?

ill try to upload some pictures on how to clone. but you want to get down to a gardening place and see if you can buy cloning gel in the meantime

Cotyledons, they will yellow and start to look like crap in couple to few weeks. Don't worry about them, once they look yellow go ahead and pluck em.
