i'm shutting it down. 3 x 6 x 6 room, 3 x 3 flower area, 3 x 3 for my chair and storage. i've only flowered indoors for 1 year. i've done a lot of vegging under shop lights. but this was my first HPS grow. my first run last year i pulled a lb off this light. i started with 10 clones, put them in for 2 weeks then added 10 more. i pulled out the first 10, harvested a 1/2 lb then put in 10 more. i pulled out the second 10 got my 1/2 lb then added 10 more. that's when things went wrong. now i get about a 1/4 to a 1/2 ounce a plant. i think i dropped my light to low and caused all kinds of problems. the temps were fine but the intense light did burn them. i had mildew issues because of overcrowding. so now i have 9 plants that are finishing up. when they are done i don't know what to do. the wife says make it work again or leave it off. i'm thinking i need a walk-thru. i have 4 maui-wowie in veg that look good. they are topped and trained. i may use those or i have 9 raft cuttings that are just taking root plus 3 hijack clones that recently went into soil. i will be using soil and organics. i have good ventilation and my temps and humidity stay within range. if i can't get this next one right i'm out. it will be a few weeks before i'm ready so in the meantime i'm open for suggestions or tutor offers. thank you my friends. :peace::joint::joint:

Im sure you've already thought this...fewer plants in the room....better ventilation and more light for each. Or time for a fresh bulb?

Well couldnt you keep the indoor for your flowering clones? and keep the babies outside during vegging

but if you veg'd one plant inside from clone, to guarantee fem, and you veg'd it for long enough to get to 6 foot indoors and then put it outdoors to continue vegin and then flower naturally, how much would you get?

yes. i will be replacing the bulb for the fresh run. i will also clean, paint, seal the floor and change the mylar. thank you my friend.

i do that. then i put a few extra clones outside to get them out of the way for a few days. that was months ago. they can't come back in now. :blsmoke: thank you my friend

another idea is you could take clones from a nice mother a couple and veg them for a while till there big tall let them get taller outside and bring them into flower, youll have a couple green lagoon monster on your hands there. and while your makin fatty clones in veg you can always be flowering smaller ones to have private stash while you wait for the pounder plants to get ready to flower

we are losing sight of the goal.

i need to pull a lb off this room or it's over. 3/4 would do. all at once, within 2 - 3 months. i have a seperate veg room but can veg for a week or 2 under the HPS if need be.

or i could just buy a helicopter. FUCK YEAH!!!!

I think something's up with the room. An overhaul like you plan could work wonders I think. Especially with the mildew thing going on. And what plant wouldnt appreciate a fresh bulb? And fewer plants.

Maybe you should take a break like you were syaing to straighten up your system and the area. How old is your bulb, how bad is the mylar?

bulb has been on 12/12 everyday for the past 10 months. mylar is $25 a roll so it's getting changed. the current mylar is getting pretty dirty. and should i change my exhaust fan?

I would definitely get a new bulb, but you already mentioned that. I lost the mylar, it was too much of a pain. I started using Panda Plastic and I will never go back to mylar, easy to clean and super durable. That mylar drives me crazy, it gets dirty and it creases and it drives me nuts. It sounds like your temps and humidity are good.

fdd your only getting half a oz per plant? Im getting 30-40 grams per plant doing a sog, i prune alot so all the production goes to the main stem, and i dont top or anything.

this comes from a dirty girl, soil for life, bear that in mind....

try dwc and pull a lb per plant. one plant in a 3x3, top at 14'', veg for 2-4 weeks after topping, then flower.

you will have pounds.

i do dirt outside now (too messy indoors) and after doing a full run with gh nutes, my indoor will be strictly hydro now. anything else is a waste of time, space, and electricity. the three clones i have in the bucket have about 10-20x more bud than my indoor dirt grow with the same strain (same mom), same veg time, and same lights. i'm expecting 1-2lbs dried...
