I have DWC and use air pumps... I am a DWC pro.. Just ran a very good yielding stain in a tent that is 8 square feet and got 8oz's... Took clones and it took 2 weeks to root and had them in veg for 2 weeks and then to 12/12. Strain is like 60 days too.
I understand, but if the noise from the air pumps is driving you nuts those are the easiest solutions. Nothing is more annoying the those air-pumps. If you are concerned about your yield don’t worry, you’ll get the same. If you have height and can do water fall return then you can keep dwc and really reduce the noise. I’m when I did dwc I also tried various ways to damper the noise, nothing is ever going to do much.

I bought 2 new air pumps and got rid of my old loud ones and turned them down a little so I don't hear the noise upstairs now... The only problem is when the AC/furnace kicks on.

Hahaha on turning you're heat down to 61, I do the same but I turn mine to 66. My basement even in the winter is usually over 66 and that air rises so my furnance will only kick on like once an hour for 5 mins when its 20-40 degrees out...Did you ever take the THI test ?? I score a 45 on my bad days and a 22 on my good days.... I think there will be a treatment in 2-3 years.
It's like we have in floor heating with all the vents open downstairs, lol. I swear it regulates the temp better in the house this way. Never took that test, more so vestibular tests. Do you use weed for tinnitus? I read a while back on a few strains that are good for that, but dont remember which ones they were, it was on allbud.com. Do you have chronic fatigue as well?

I can't smoke weed it makes my tinnitus way worse. I have had tinnitus for almost 3 years and haven't smoked prob in almost 2 years. I miss it bad. I don't sleep as well so I have more fatigue too. I've tried every supplement and CBD's too.

I've tried over 100 strains in the last two years, by far the best I've found so far is blueberry. When I started using this my chronic fatigue starting getting better and now I sleep. I would say out of the 100, 4 actually help, 10 are ok, and the rest cause more issues.

What is your tinnitus from?

Wow, I've never bumped into others with Tinnitus before. I'm going to try those links, thanks. I tried finding strains that help but gave up. Gonna have to try the blueberry.

Sounds like concussion related?
Mine is from neck/jaw issues. Sleeping on my stomach and having my neck jacked up... Also was doing stuff done in my basement and hit my head on a pipe a bunch of times when I stood up. Forward head posture. I've always had minimal problems with my neck even when I played sports 20 years ago.

I'm prob not gonna be able to do that insulation myself and I will just make a mess. Isn't there anything I can spray on the pipes or like spackle on????

I've got the same forward head posture, it bites. Also have tmj and need a night guard. I agree the whole posture thing aggravates my tmj which is connected to tinnitus, fuck it's all connected, lol.

I find it can help it but it has to be the right strain. Some make everything worse, esp sativas. It would take me two to three days to recover. Dutch treat and dela haze were the worst! I ordered about 100, 1 gram samples on black market websites and started rolling thru them. For me it's indica the whole way. I noticed as my tinnitus got better I would get these random out of the blue moments where all of a sudden I would get a change in pitch, then it would disappear and it and i would feel better.

On allbud I've found their writeups to be for the most part spot on for what symptoms they help. It took me months to compile and source out strains that help. Blueberry was by accident, my parents had it for their prescription they gave it to me and it was like an aha moment, it was the one, at least for me. When I cross referenced allbud after i used it, the first symptom listed in their writeup is chronic fatigue, it verified what I already knew so now allbud my main source for mj info. Also the order that they list the symptom is in order of most helped to least, at least that's been my experience, your mileage may vary. It's been my medical mj bible.

Dude you are my tinnitus twin. I have a mouth guard too and before I got it I only slept 75 hours total in 10 weeks. I lost about 35 lbs and couldn't urinate. My tinnitus got better after the night guard. Before that I would have about 5 different sounds in different parts of my head, now prob only 1-2 sounds after jaw was moved into better place. Is you're tinnitus always bad or does it fluctuate to good?

If I'm in an area with power equipment they scream loud after, have to be wary of where I am at and for how long.

Hey is this stuff any good? Can I just wrap multiple layers around my circular vent? It seems easier to use this than the rockwool.

It's worth a shot. I also put a storage bin up against where the vent is, it covers the vent but still allows air flow from sides. Reduced noise by a good bit.
