I found someone elses plants. What to do?

So I have a real nice little spot where ive planted a few. Nothin crazy, the other day I went to check on them and found that someone else had planted in the same area, about 10. now mine are well hidden and real hard to find. his on the other hand are very obvious from foot or fro the air. way too obvious for my liking. I really wouldn't care except mine are pretty close. This is a tough one for me, cause id hate to get in the way of another guys harvest, but I fear hes putting mine at risk. what would you do?

That sucks but IMO better find another spot. Hard telling who they are and if you contact them somehow you'd just be outing your grow location. It's hard finding a very private place outdoors any more. Good luck!

Leave him a note tied to one of his plants. Tell him that you have no intention of taking his. Maybe even see if you run into him, you might make a new friend.

If the two grows are that close that you will eventually run into each other, I would leave a note. Pretty damn hard to move everything at this point in the game. I have had this happen before and all I can say is its bloody awkward when you do bump into each other that first time.

I thought about a note. but how alarming would that be for him? that would sure wake me up if I came back and teir was a note on one of my plants. its never happened to me but I can just imagine how awkward it would be to run ito the guy to. I think ill just ignore him (for now). Ill hope hes a grower with integrity and leaves me alone, (if he ever finds mine). Cause lets face it hes go just as much right to be there as me.

I would personally just crop them ,so he buggers off and doesn't stumble upon yours . This is the safest method , as you said very open and drawing un wanted attention. You two already thought this I am sure more will follow .

thinking ahead this year I planted in a few different places. So im not terrified about it. I do really like this spot though. Im not too worried about getting shot. lol cause its just not that kinda spot. I really thought about just cutting his so he would go away but for some strange reason I find that really hard to do.

This isn't such a bad thing, his poor choice of location actually provides you with cover against rippers/authorities.

If they find his obvious location, they generally won't keep looking any further.

Or you could simply chop his and leave a business card from the local police department...pretty nasty but it would get rid of the problem in a hurry.

Do nothing. Or find another spot. Note would freak me out and I would never come back after I clean up.

hate to say it, but if my spot was compromised id rip his.shit up,
im sure hes not dumb enough.to plant again in the same spot, if he does lucky you

You havnt been growing outddoor very long have you? What a dumb idea leaving a note, oh how sweet. Bro this isnt a lovers tiff with a girlfriend you dont write guerilla growers 'notes' . All you can do is follow sunbiz advice, rip them and leave a police card, dump the plants (leaf and tip) in the bush a couple miles away and hope he fucks off from the area. I dont like stealing its just a business decision.

yeah I thought about the business card from the police. the only problem with that is I don't have one. For me to get one would require a trip to a place I don't really wanna go. I do sorta like the idea of his acting like a cover for me but I would just rather have no attention at all.

And right now the other grower is reading rollitup and thinking "Shit!".

oh maybey I didn't mention (for the hardcore guys)(lol). this is not a business decision for me. Well not really. Im sure in the end I may be rewarded for my hard work but that's all im hoping for. It sure sounds like theirs a couple guys here I wouldn't want to meet in the woods but I like to think theirs a few guys out there like me that are just doing it cause they enjoy it, are for the most part pretty decent guys and possibly have things to teach me yet. Ive been doing this long enough to know what im doing just maybey I was a little lost on the "right" thing to do.

I knew I wasn't the only one with that comical thought...what if the other guy who carelessly planted 10 ladies is a member of this messageboard...

This reminds me of the Weeds episode when Silas and Andy go out into the woods looking for a grow spot -- with them carrying his only clone to start with -- and stumble upon some big time growers.

up pot his and put them in containers leaving a note that states " not here go find somewhere else please" he'll take his plants and never come back.
