I hate asking stupid questions but...

Having a major brain fart. I'm usually good at coming up with quick solutions to minor problems like this but I've had a rough month and I'm not on my "A" game.

This is a small one-plant "mother tent". I want to keep this lady in here and take clones from her for as long as I can. I've already trained her as short as I can go but I still feel like she's too close to the light and the hangers are already as high as they can go. Is there a stupid-easy solution to getting that light up even higher that I'm missing?

I've already searched online and cannot find any cables shorter than the ones the light came with. I tried hooking both cables to one single hanger in the middle, and it did raise the light a bit but I'm looking to get it even higher if possible. I guess I could trim them then see if I can find new cable crimps but I was hoping there would be an easier solution.

Pretty easy really

You can even put the ratchet hangers on the outside frame instead of the middle bar to gain a few inches but removing them completely and hang by the wires will gain you most room like mentioned above.

I was a bit vague

I remove the wire, leave that little clip that clips to the light
Use two ratchet hangers, one for each end attached to that clip

Now yours is pretty small, light, so a wider spread, like Red mentioned, will get it up higher

I'd say u can gain 6" easily

Hook a rope hanger to each corner like this:

You can also get small sections of chain from Home Depot.

I wouldn’t leave your ratchet ropes sitting on top of your light I know they don’t get that hot just scares the fuck out of me

True. That looks like mars hydro, those suckers get surprisingly hot to the touch.

That's def not a Mars....HLG if anything.

Just reminds me of the time I replaced a 1000w hps bulb I always hold bulbs with a cloth any how left the cloth on top of the reflector DOH

Actually it is a Mars, just a cheapo but good enough for one plant. It does get pretty warm to the touch but not even close to hot enough to melt/ignite the ratchet rope.
