Are you looking to sign up with an LP? If so....Broken Coast seem to be the only ones who know how to grow and plus they don't lobby to shut down dispensaries. But they only have a handful of strains, while a dispensary constantly has new arrivals.

Just keep your paperwork. If you can get into dispensaries with it if you are unsatisified with an LP producer.

Well I've been in touch with Tweed and have no issue using an LP however, I'm open to seeking help through dispensaries even though they are not yet legal.

I have copies of my referral as my family Dr. is very open to the idea of me finding help though whichever channel I wish, I've found that bm marijuana has helped relieve some of my pain symptoms.

I'm just hoping to find a way to receive a consistent strain to help with my pain relief.

There is absolutely no risk for you using a dispensary of cc if you're approved by a doctor. No reason to support the lp's as they are actively lobbying aginst us. Get your medical note form a doctor and shop around at different dispensarys to see which you like the best.

I don't have a prescription from my DR, just a referral so that I can see someone that would prescribe it to me as a pain management alternative. The issue I have is getting an appointment with such a Dr. I'm hoping that I can get some help so that I can find a way to get my hands on some medication.

Is it possible for me to just walk into a dispensary and show them my referral?

Yes most will accept that. Some also will give to membership with just showing prescription bottles for recognized medical conditions. But I'd suggest finding a doctor to sign a note for you so you are legally covered.

Get a Dr note with your prescription amount. Go to Google and look for MMAR plant calculator, input your dosage. The MMPR is illegally restrictions your rights. Pin your note on the wall and grow...OR sign up to a LP and feel the burn.

No reason to sign up for a lp at all. If he gets the note from his doc showing his allowed grams per day he's legally allowed to posses and buy from where ever he'd like. Cc, dispensary bm. The growing part still isn't covered but he'd never get convicted in the inertum untill hc comes up with a new medical marijuana program allowing home grows.

I grew a couple of plants last year, outdoors. Having a wife and 2 kids makes it difficult to have an indoor grow.
Also I'm not the greenest thumb. I'm happy to do it as a fun past-time but I'm hoping for consistent results.

I work full-time and won't be medicating daily, only when my symptoms arise. So a few grams a week won't hurt from an LP.
However I'm not looking to give my money away either.
I'd like to stay on the safe side as my employer would frown on any legal issues, not that I don't have a bunch of lawyer friends that would love to put up a fight for me if the need where to present itself.

I feel like I've done the tough part and that's to get my family Dr. to agree that this is a suitable option for my pain management.

Now to just find someone to prescribe and of course fill the prescription

There is no benifit to using a lp over any other source for your bud. Not legally or financially. In fact if you sign up with one your stuck with them until you get another doctors note which cost $$. Save your $ for meds and try several dispensarys. It's true they operate in a legal gray area but they are taking the risk not you. If you are medically approved by a doctor your 100% legal no matter the source or your meds.

You can pretty much get your meds from anywhere right now. Lol.

Just have your docs note once you find one.

You might find that you develop a tolerance to a single strain over time. May I suggest keeping your options open. The LPs are known for terrible quality, be similar t eating kraft dinner every night. a good dispensary or mail order from one would give better results. Health Canada ensured poor quality from LPs by the SOPs that are being used.

If you can GROW YOUR OWN..... The Allard case was fought for a reason, and the government lost for a reason...

Maybe asking flat out for a Dispensary that can help is too blunt, however can someone point me in he right direction?
You can Inbox me if it's not a good practice to brag about it on the main forum, or again, if i'm overstepping my boundaries please let me know.

Anyone with first hand experience would be great, and when I grew I started from a clone that was already 1 foot high, i'm not even sure if i'll have access to that anymore.

There are several in Vancouver and around BC in general, most of which will do the trick.

I'm sure there's some members here who have used some.

I'm not sure if these cannabis clinics sign notes for dispensaries

If I were you....just get them to sign papers for an LP.....then just use that paper work to get accepted into a dispensary...and don't even bother doing a first order with the LP
