i just topped my plants

i just topped my plants yesterday. how long will it take for the to start growing like normal. and on on plant i accidently broke a leaf off, do you think my plant will be ok?

About 2 days give or take. It also depends on how you topped them, with my experience is you're better off chopping the entire top growth off, instead of trimming/fimming it. Broke a leaf? Put it this way, outdoors with animals/wind etc any plant is bound to lose a leaf or two, so don't worry.

i topped them by cutting off the the newer set of leaves that were coming in

Just give it time. It will grow when it's ready. Patience is a virtue. Treat her well and she will treat you well.
