I know this is a clone only strain but she had a plant get a male part on it. This caused the plant to produce about 35 seeds, which she gave to me. I sprouted these seeds and the plants look good (pic included)

What can I expect from these, will they be all females? Will they be weird hermaphrodite schwag?

Any info will be appreciated thank you:)

Can I pinch off the nuts and still grow them out or should I kill them out if I see a male part?
You can do whatever you want. Problem with hermies is a couple of things. First, hermies are not going to be as potent as a true female. Second, it only takes you missing one pollen sack and it can ruin your entire crop. :leaf:

This has not been my experience. I've found if you stay ahead of the bananas that appear and avoid self pollination, the final product has the potential to be as good as anything else out there. I guess it depends on the degree that they hermie, but IME, a handful of bananas removed to minimize damage yields an excellent product.

1st, I like the makeshift reflector for you lights, cool stuff
2nd- they do need to be closer, try to keep the top of your plants 1 inch or a shy less away...as your canopy is uneven right now, might want to prop some up on books or whatever you have to try to get them as even as possible before adjusting the lights
3rd- ALL MJ plants have a hermie gene, it comes down to stress. If they never know stress, you'll never know hermie. Its that simple.
4th- THANKS HOMEBREW- I have been fortunate enough that all my auto's that survived the lighting incident came out female, ALL of them, giving me as many females as I had hoped before I knew I was going to lose any...so it all worked out, but if any do go hermie I had full intentions of trying to just do damage control, I'm glad to know that it can be done...very VERY comforting. I'm pretty sure I have my current mini setup dialed in at this point, but I never know what tomorrow will bring...
5th- YOU LUCKY ASS SOB!!! :P you got femed seeds for free of OG purple Kush....fem seeds normally are more expensive, you got hooked up....when that old lady passes on, you *better* be there with a muthafuckin poem of her greatness!!! You should be tellin your childrens childrens children about that women....I'm just sayin... I would... "son, let me tell you about a wonderful old lady who out of nowhere dropped down upon us the og purple kush..."",,,You mean the same strain we just got high on?""We are indeed smoking the descendants of that most righteous and holy gift onto us...";) †LOL†

I'm talking about full on she-males, not those late flowering banana or 2..............:peace:

but if a male branch starts can't you just prune it? obviously it will slow it down, but better that then the alternative...

and your the first person I've heard make any mention of a hermie not being as potent as a true female, what data is that based on, out of curiosity?

Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot of data. Perhaps with cannabis gaining acceptance, we will learn the answers to these and many other questions being asked by growers. My evidence is anecdotal. I've grown out more plants than I care to count. Unfortunately, a small percentage were hermies. IME they are always less potent. No scientific study here, just my own personal experience. That being said, it's a well known fact that sinsemillia (unpollinated cannabis) is much more potent than seeded cannabis. I mean, why else would you cull the males in order to prevent pollination if that weren't the case. It's not a stretch to realize that hermies won't be as potent either. A true intersex plant will usually show male flowers at around the 3rd week (give or take). I'm not talking about a plant that throws a nanner or two in late flower. I'm talking full blown she-males here. You can most certainly try to snip male flowers off of a hermie and maybe they won't come back. Maybe you will find them all. But maybe you won't.:fire: I tried dong this last year and missed more than one male flower. My entire flowering room was seeded!:cuss: I only speak from experience and IME it's very difficult to see all potential male flowers on a hermaphroditic plant. Those buggers can hide, tucked up underneath a bud. It can be very difficult to spot them all and once they open it's too late. My advice is as soon as you spot a hermie ( a true hermie, not a late term nanner popper) get rid of it! It's just not worth seeding your entire crop IMO. Do what you want though. :joint:

I did, the 2 stunted ones looked like they had bannannas on top, and hairs, so I put them in another room that gets alot of sunlight, and thats where they're staying for the next month as my indoor grow wraps up, well, at least round one... ;)

I usually keep my hermies and use them for butter or something. Isolating them is definitely a good plan so they don't blow dust on all your ladies.:bigjoint:

I seriously underestimated how much light they were going to get in that room, they're doing great, just had a bad incident with a demonic insect in my outdoor setup, so I may bring the survivors in to join them. (demonic insect is decapitating my fucking plants one by one like a bad horror flick...)

Hey I have been hearing a lot about the clone only strains. I also see most are coming from Cali. So I have to ask. Is it that they just wont sell the seeds. So they wont have to give up the genetics and can hold a monopoly on the strain. So that's why you can only get the fem clones, Or is there a reason that you can't seed them.
