Trim off all dead growth and leave that 1 stem intact and give them a week to recover

That looks realy bad, they can still survive but i wouldnt count on them giving you many good buds.
Im still a noob a growing but dont overwater them or give them to much nutes because you think it will help, and you don't want to shock them or let the temperature get too low.

so i ended up cutting everything that was dead. The shoots would not revive, the leaves were as crispy as powder.

There is some side growth it looks like on the shoots, so wherever super tiny leaves were poking i have let those continue.

The plants will probably not yield as they should have originally, but they are not fully dead, which i suppose is a slight relief. The 2 strains were Burmese Kush and G13 Pineapple express.

I have been misting a few times per day and made sure the coco is always moist (not possible to overwater)
