I need experienced advice

Hello guys, I’ve come here for advice from experienced only please. Here is my set up, please revise and comment.

1. Tent 3 x 3 x 6 ....Can possibly upgrade to 4 x 4 x 6

2. Carbon Filter Vortex 400 CFM

3. Vortex Inline Fan 340 CFM

4. CMH 315 Watt 4000K Fusion VEG LIGHT (not yet ordered and have option to go 3000K, and option to upgrade to Philips green power... what is green power and what is different between 3000 and 4000K thank you)

5. 1000 Watt HPS light air cooled tube... Flower light

My main questions are the lights.. is this an outrageous combination or is this a good set up? How can I make it better.. thank you all inputters! Also if it is air cooled tube, do you have to connected anything to this tube to air cool it or is it air cooled? Thanks

i usually just do an exhaust fan out at full speed in grow tents usually the negative pressure brings in enough fresh air and as long as your lights arnt to hot you should be good. it looks to me like youve got the full setup best thing to do now is run it and see what happens. if your plants have any problems come on here and post some pictures and other members will help you out.

Go 4x4x6.5; lights look good but I'd look at LED too; The air cooled tube is connected to your vortex fan, which will draw air through the tube.

i think ur pushing too much light... im not a professional this is one of my first times on this forum.... but from whati understand if ur just going to be going w ambient co2 ur going to maximise yield around 500 ppfd.. idk what ppfd comes down from a 1000w hps but i would assume its way over 500ppfd.. therefore all that extra light u are paying for and probable the cooling of that light would be extraalwell...
just jumping into this like i said i did a ton of research and i found the best light to be the hlg96v2... 3 of those strung on 320 drivers is a perfect setup... id put 6 96v2s on 2 meanwell 320-54a drivers and u got as good of a setup as the pros.. just downsized...
w the hlg96v2 if ur goign to stay w ambient co2 u would get to 500 ppfd at roughly 300w w the light 1 ft away.... so if the leds get u to ur max point at 300w i got to assume a 1000w hps is overkill

u probable shouldnt listen to me untill ifigure this stuff out myself tho.... i thought i shouldcomeback and say that

Invest in Led for lights.
