I planted my germinated seed today in soil and put a 14 watt cfl about 1 inch obove the pot will tht be enough for it to sprout??? Please respond soon.

i agree with desr, i would recommend having at least 50 actual watts under that seedling.

Ya it will sprout. I keep me germed seeds in the dark until they pop out of soil. Once they pop and you see leaves they'll need light. Are you gonna get a bigger one to grow it under?

well this is temporary Bcus im building a grow box and ima be using 150 watt hps system so im just using this for it to sprout and while im done building it

2 23w 6500k cfl's in a Y socket
