I Need Help On Choosing Lens Color..Thanks

I'm going to order a solderless LED kit and one of the options are to choose what color lens
you want.

The options are.. Lens Color: White or Black

I have no clue or what advantage a White Lens might have over Black Lens and vice a versa.

Can someone please explain as this is all new to me.
