I need these clones to survive, taken during flower

I have 4 plants at 40 days into flower. 2 grape ape and 2 blueberry (all from seed). I wasnt really looking to get any mothers going right now but at the 4 week mark, 2 of my plants, one grape ape and one blueberry started looking really amazing. Smell is insane, like candy. Trich coverage is also extremely good for so early on. The pic of the bud was clipped 5 days ago at the 5 week mark and since then it has only gotten better. I really want to keep both these phenos especially after the luck ive had lately with the last few seed packs i bought. Just hasn't been great genetics until these 2 came along. As i said they started showing their potential at 4 weeks so i took cuttings then, already had buds on them. I did a very thorough job of pruning early on so i only had a couple smaller shoots underneath. Only got 2 cuts of each. That was 12 days ago and all 4 have rooted, but the leaves are starting to yellow and still no sign of it reverting to vegetative growth. I still have them in a dome and giving very low strength of gh trio now, about 250ppm. Im about to transplant them into cups.
How long should i expect before these get some veg growth coming out of the buds? Is it likely these will make it? Any tips for the best chance of keeping them alive until they start to grow? If the cuts fail, i will have one more shot by attempting to reveg the plants after harvest.

Go ahead and transplant into cups. Since they've been under a dome, you'll have to harden them off to the ambient humidity in the environment. Take the dome off for 10,20,30 minutes at a time a few times per day. Increase the amount little by little over the span of 1 to 2 weeks until you have them hardened off. Also, slowly increase the intensity of the light little by little over the same time frame until they are at early veg light intensity. They will start to show new growth in the next two weeks. It will look like weird leaves. That is how reveg growth looks. They will have normal veg growth within 3 to 4 weeks. I've had success reveging clones many times.

Good luck! Peace :peace:

If you got roots then the hard part of the battle is over. :)
Treat them like any vegging plant...they need food.
It will at about 2-3 months before you can take clones from them, but about 4 weekyou'll get weird single leaf growth and funny off shoots...they look weird for awhile, but grow out of it into bigger and stronger plants I find.
Best of luck and happy growin' :P

I just plant them in there next cup and throw them under the next light. That’s my process of hardening off. The leaves jump to the light a different way over night when they are ready. If they have roots. They go right back to being used to their old selfs like nothing happened.

Reveg took a week or so. Clones were taken at 26 days of flower

The clones are gonna make it! Finally seeing some new leaves coming out of the buds. Looks like all 4 will pull through. Good to know i can use this method when pheno hunting rather than just cloning everything in veg and having unnecessary amounts of plants.
Really stoked to have this strain. I clipped another little bud right after posting this thread and just now squished a little rosin from it. Its absolutely amazing. 2.5g in pressed at 185F, 0.55 grams out! Thats 22% and i usually dont get optimal return from such a small press. On top of that it wasnt quite mature. I think this strain will easily return 25% on larger presses. Its now looking really close to harvest and thats only 47 days which is also really amazing. One thing ive heard about grape ape is that it smells amazing but the flavor isnt really that great. Definitely not the case with this pheno, at least when pressed into rosin. Dab tastes like sweet fruity candy. Pic below

Nice.

not only will you have some bomb phenos but they’ll be monster cropped.

That rosin looks so good.
