You should be able to find the suggested footprint from the manufacturer. I am not familiar with those lights.

I do use 7 gallon containers and run 1000w de’s, the footprint for each light is 5 ft or so but I set them up at 4 feet. In that 4 ft space I do 4 plants and veg for 4 weeks or so. I aim for 1.5-2 lbs per light.

figure out your footprint and then you should be able to plan it out. If you are going to do 7 plants, I’d veg for two or three weeks max and use 5 gals.

Always nice to have extra space. It even allows for future addition of side lighting.

So if one light is for a 3c3 space and the other lights being for watever size space a single cree cob 100 watt and 250 watt cfl is for is how much space i can use with the lights?

That’s right. The manufactures suggested footprint is for the area your light will illuminate at the stated amount. There will be overspray but the light in that area isn’t going to be as strong and will produce different then what’s inside the 3x3.

If it was me, I would use the 3x3 and add the other two lights as supplemental.
