I Never Mist. Good Or Bad?

I grow in hydro and have not misted the plants this batch beyond the cloning stage. They seem to be doing fine.

Anyone else not bother with misting?

Anyone care to convince me that I should be doing so?

I'm all ears and willing to learn.

My wife loves misting the plants. I get her to stop once we start flowering them. It doesn't do any harm so I let her have her fun :D

i like to feed them with a very diluted 1-1-1 when i mist. I mist to keep the humidity up during veg

idk if you'll see any benefit with hydroponics, but I like misting my plants that are growing in soil. Usually its to cover up my mistakes, like say I forget to water and the plants are wilting, they recover faster when I waster the soil and mist the leaves.

it rains outside? i dont see any reason why it would hurt to mist. if anything i think it would be benificial.

I don't mist my clones, I don't use a humidity dome either, I just stick 'em into the pot and wait.

I agree with Wetdog, one bout of fungus will cure the urge to mist. ;)

I don't like to do a lot of work. The girls don't seem to mind. :)

the twin artificial suns in our shed would FRY the girls if we misted!
unless its neem or nutrients (Magnesium is absorbed especially quick via leaves), i have enough goddam humidity.

Bro ,the battle with fucken mold is hard enough with out you spraying water on the plants. For god sake dont spray the buds.
If it rains all the time outside , they will mold also.

I have been spraying my plants for quite a while.Don't we all like a nice shower. No issues with PM,mold from it.Get more air circulation if misting gave you issues.

I just mist when I cant rise my humidity in veg and the leaves start to experience moisture stress (the margins start to curl up and tips downwards). Then I spray them twice a day and they regenerate nicely, otherwise I do not mist. Sometimes I add Phyt-amine to the mix, its a hormone that promotes leaf vitality and I always add a drop of surfactant in order to prevent the lens effect.
