I Refuse to Buy into the Obama Hype

If this sounds like you or anyone one you know, this article might be worth reading. There is a lot of talk about Obama being nothing more than a silver-tongue without much substance. At the end of this article you will find a list of bills passed by Obama and Clinton. Granted, its from Dailykos.com, a very liberal site, and I don't like it when Pub's list facts from Hannity and Colmes and Ann Coulter, so I am trying to leave the opinion portion out of it. I just found it to be a nice place where the bills were listed. If you don't care about the opinion in the article, just scroll to the bottom to see the bills that made it through senate. I think it goes a long way to showing Obama is a lot more substance than flash.

This guy, Obama, Is going to be good for this country. He is going to unite us and get us back on track to be a world participant instead of a colonialist. He is going to try and revamp the lobbiest situation which is the gravest cancer on the government and bring health care to this country so we can join the worlds industrialized countries again in taking care of the sick. I doubt he can get the profit out of Medical in the first term but maybe in the second the people will get behind him and shitcan the HMOs and the insurance thieves. This will be the battle of the century. All it would take is to get it on the ballot. There are enough pissed off people to outlaw them, I'd sure as hell vote for their expulsion. If he makes John Edwards his VP, Edwards can focus on the medical, his baby, and he'll get-er-done. I doubt if even a false flag attack can put McCain in the white house, I think enough of the people have wized up to prevent that.

Wow! Obama is going to eliminate "world poverty!" I wonder if he will take his cue from The One who came before him and rest on the seventh day. ~lol~

He'll never get the 2nd amendment repealed. The guns need to be taken out of the ghettos and away from youths. I don't have a plan for that, but that is common sense. Most gun violence is in the inner cities and the drug culture. The average citizen that owns a gun only uses it for self protection. Yeah every once in a while, an Idiot leaves a gun where a kid gets ahold of it and it makes front page news. It wasn't the guns fault but the idiot that didn't secure it. These facts will be brought out if and when anyone tries to fuck with the 2nd amendment. Quit worrying, Obama is going to be good for America.

If anyone needs a gun for self protection its the average Joe living in the inner city and/or the ghetto. Hey, Goetz is one of you heros isn't he? I know he's one of mine for sure.

The problem is NOT profit in health care. Most for-profit hospitals are pretty efficient. The not-for-profit outfits are the real blood suckers. The community Christian hospital near my home gets new drywall up, and a couple years later, the job is redone. The two big Catholic hospitals are the same way.

The devil in health care is not normal profits. The devil is insurance companies making obscene profits and raping small purchasers with multi-tier price schedules. This nation is mad as hell when the GAO discloses that a tool company sold claw-hammers to Home Depot for $8 and to NASA for $58. Well, the same thing happens with insurance companies today. Only the little guy gets the bill stuck in his gluteus maximus, not in NASA.

The next big problem with health care is tort-costs. Do you really believe a member of the trial lawyers association is going after tort-reform? Obahma and Edwards are a pair of foxes watching the big hen house. Where do you think they get their campaigns financed? The trial lawyers association is just about the biggest lobby in America.

In all seriousness, crazy old McCain would be more likely to coral health care costs, or even move to single payer coverage. And that my friends is not something that gives warm and fuzzies to most republicans. But, it is a fact. If you want to vote for lower health care costs, vote for John McCain.

You need to look into who this man is working with in Illinois and look at how many people that are working for the state government in Illinois have been associated with corruption. He has some huge ties to many people whom have plead guilty or are awaiting trial.
Take a real hard look at what has happened in Illinois with him representing Illinois.
The 7th highest tax rate in the nation. A 750 million dollar a year budget shortfall. One of the toughest state laws on ownership of a fire arms. One of the Highest rates of loss of driving privileges in the nation. Many company's are leaving Illinois due to taxes. Strict smoking laws. Huge wastes of tax dollars on BS projects in Illinois.

He scares the hell outta me and is no way worthy of my vote.

Look mr. mock. With a single payer system, there would be no ambulance chasing lawyers. The medical care would be free and Mal-practice insurance would be non-existent. There would be a system compared to Australias of a small surtax added to your taxes to cover mal-practice and a cap would be put on awards according to the damage done. It would free up billions in lost revenue to all concerned, Well maybe except the lawyers, the HMOs, and the Greedy insurance companies. I know, I know, sounds too good to be true. Lets give it a try.

I do not know which solution is best. HMOs are killers. They almost gave my wife a tombstone. Malpractice is an enormous cost. Yet it is a real issue. From what I can tell, the Canadian model does not work very well. I heard there was a state model functioning in Oregon that was pretty good, but I have no experience with it. Clearly, there are small changes that could be implemented now, that would make a huge improvement on a sick system.

But keep in mind the insuance, HMO, and trial lawyer lobbys are having a field day.

Exactly, that's why we need single payer, eliminate all three of those bloodsuckers in one fell swoop. Most of the employees could be transfered over to a government paperwork system, and the CEOs could kiss my ass in public at high noon every day for the rest of my life, although I'm only using this figuratively. The lawyers could be put on permanent vacation or sent to washington to root out thieves and crooks. Start a peoples class action suit against all those crooked congressmen and those lying scumbag lobbiests. I think my Ideas have merit, what say you.
