I think I know but.....

Thanks for posting the link, my timing was based on 45 to 50 days in bloom, seems my lights are holding it back, and thanks every one for your comments, I will invest in some better lights,
For starters 10 weeks minimum, I've never had anything matured ready to cut in under 10 weeks, ime 50/55 days don't exist outside of breeders notes.

The lights have arrived and are well built but I have a question already, Would I use the dimmer for seedlings and run at full power for veg and bloom ?

They're bright as fk!
I bleached my plants 3x in a row, keep around 50% power to begin with and stick to the recommended max hanging heights.

It's my 1st run with led I'm only finding my way myself.
My rough plan for the next time is 50% veg/early flower (2 wks) then 70/75% weeks 3/5 then 100% weeks 5/6 on.

Yeah you don't want to run full power. It depends on the height you have them but I recommend starting around 25% @ about 24inches if I remember correctly in the early stages. I run mine @ 57% max in flower but I have 9 @ around 1000ppfd 24 inches from canopy. I'll test 1 panel with my apogee today to verify ideal ppfd required for seedlings @ 24 inches and post back my results.

I usually never run my lights below 80-100%
All QB lights

Seedlings are in solo cups, below my veg plants
Veg at 20-24"
So solo would be around 30" ish maybe a bit more

Never an issue

Defo agree. I have had 340w worth of 301b in a 2x4 at full pelt above these from day one. Started at 24", at 19" now. Day 35, 20/4 first week, 24/0 now as it's cold af here. 17c max outside lately so lights crank all the time to stay between 15-24c. Beat I can do with no heater, but they seem okay.

It's started like this.

After 2 days 100w led

Back to cfl 3 days.

The light was 20" from the top?

Plants can take a few days to get used to stronger lighting. When I went from 240w to 340w worth of LED, the plants would start to droop a few hours before lights out until they adapted to the stronger light.
That was my introduction to led a sharp learning curve before put away for the winter.

I've not long started a proper led grow and I've had no problem at all this time, after bleaching them 3 times in the past I'm still a bit sketchy about the power, I've 540w over 15 square feet with about 10% left, any pointers would be welcome?

Not sure tbh. I just ignored the heavy drooping and it went away after a week. There was never any bleaching, so I can't really speak out there. I think i remember your posts earlier.

I don't usually stress. They looked like this by lights out when I added another QB, and I didn't do anything, just rode it out lol.

They still tire a bit about an hour before lights off, but generally look like this within an hour of waking up.

I've only ever had issues with light stress when lighting intensity has been changed drastically during a grow.
