Idea for a grow shed in my attick

Adding an attic vent fan would help a lot with heat but theres the cutting a hole in the roof part that scares most people, someone handy like yourself could handle it. The wiring is easy too.

No, cutting a hole in the roof doesn't worry me nore am I afraid to wire a fan up. I really don't feel it is necessary for my attick though. I need to get a thremometer so that I can take temperature readings though. It would be a pain in the ass to install the fan into that tin roof also.

Hey 007.
Looks as though you are taking your time with the grow room and thats good, most people rush right in.

You may know this already but the temps your looking for are between 70 and 80F without CO2 and between 80 and 90F with CO2.
During flowering the temps should drop between 10 and 20F when the lights are off, but still above above 60F.

Watching the progress. :joint:

I am looking at doing a co2 system. I think I can put together the main components(valve/solenoid combo and co2 tank) for around $150.

CO2 will help a lot with the higher temps. Thats a good price for a co2 system, do it! Have you gotten a thermometer yet? Im curious to see what temp you are starting with. You know they sell em cheap at hardware stores. Buy one that tells both indoor and outdoor temps(you know, they got like a 6 foot wire with a senor on the end) Mount her on the wall to get the room temp and use the sensor on the wire to get the temps at the top of your plants.
