If I'm using an NFT system, should I turn off the pump when I turn the light off?

I'm using this system:

Should I attach the pump with the timer of the lights or should the pump should work all the time? I'm a beginner obviously so I need ur help.

The pump should be on a separate timer to the lights, it should be operating constantly (not to say the pump is on 24/7 but the timer sequence is not stopped overnight etc). That's the extent of my knowledge with NFT though, not sure how long it's meant to be turned on, for how often etc.

leave the pumps on all the time, the pumps are most likely to fail when they are switched on and off too

as soon as your seed/clones have rooted put them into the nft and set the water pump timer to 15 mins on 30 mins off for 1-1.5 weeks then take the timer off and run the pump 24/7

This is unnecessary although it won't do any harm , imo it over complicates the system for no real gain
although you are pretty free to play around with it, NFT is a flexible system

Just watch your roots you do not want them to go dry use a seperate timer and watch what your ladies need

always helps mine alot, if i have it straight away on 24/7 i always get droopey leafs
