i got a cheap one and i dont trust it. it wreaks of failure. if i had bud that wreaked that bad id be a godget one asap. I have a few grows under my belt but I never had one. I just picked one up this week and its awesome. only 10 and well worth it

i know my tap water is 7 from test strips and the meter says 7.1...thats good enough for me

you will need to get some calibration solution and adjust your meter regularly. the probes in most of those meters dry out easily and become inaccurate. unless it has a metal probe, it is best to store it in a little calibration solution. iv had a few inexpensive meters over the years, but i keep going back to drops because the meters wear out so easily.

its a metal probe, i dont like the strips cause i make my own teas and the strip always turns brown and its hard to read

I bought one rfom a brand called "essentials" or such, it cost about £20 and is just a generic plastic digital meter like every other one on ebayu. I've used it for about a year and half now and never had to use the clibrate button once. I just make sure there's water in the cap before i put it back on.

lots of different types and looks. long skinny probe that you insert into what you want tested,and a gage to read. they do what the pool strips do but can be used over and over...
