ILGM seeds mixed reviews

I soaked 3 seeds for bout 12 hours till they sank. One seed already pooped its root out. I then planted them in jiffy pellets. The temperature and moisture has been controlled the whole time.11 days later, no progress. 2 seeds didnt pop. The one that did, it's root is the same length it was on day 1 when it was saoking.. They're no good.. ILGM apparently is great about replacing the seeds, but you will most likely get more dead seeds, from the reviews I've been reading, not to mention you probably have to send the old ones back. Everyone knows this is a time consuming process and it costs money. With that being said, i dont have time or money to throw away for negative results, or even mixed results for that matter. I will not buy from them again. Businesses should know what theyre doing or move onto other things. Obviously being a seed vendor isn't their strong side and they should probably just give up, being that a lot of these bad seed reviews are several years old and we're still getting bunk seeds from them..

I grew 2 gdp from ilgm. The first one did legit have grape gas terps that would be on your hands hours later. I had a low tolerance at the time but I remember I was happy with it. The other looked good, turned a little purp, but had earthy terps and a weak buzz.

I grew 4 white widows. All hermed like crazy. All had an anise terp profile that came through on the smoke. Frosty. Weakest stuff ever though.

Ssh, zero germ rate on a 20 pack. I'm good on replacements. I have bodhi, tga, clearwater, cannarado, archive... I'm good lol.

Strawberry kush I had 2 very different phenos. One of them was actually potent but had minimal terps, earthy/candy. The other had bubblegum terps during the grow but they didn't come through with the dry. And it was weak.

Running theme for me is frosty and weak. Obviously potency is not directly correlated with trichome coverage, someone tell the breeders test their shit and purps is weak , full stop.

Pic of a gdp bud that is def pretty but like most modern genetics, cant hold a candle to circa 2005 midgrade!

I put mine straight into soil and water. Somehow I’m 4/4. Beginners luck and 1 was a bag seed the other 3 from ilgm

yield wasn't the problem with ILGM, I found potency lacking. the few strains I was kind of happy with, I compared with two other seed banks for those particular strains (comparing with a branded seed company (e.g., Dark Horse) or a reputable individual breeder wouldn't be a fair comparison). let's just say, I discontinued all strains I got from ILGM and it was about a dozen.

Although Grower's Choice and Crop Kings are not the best, seems like they advertise about 4% higher THC versus the same strain at ILGM. There could be exceptions, that's just what I noticed. Trust but verify -- smoke test is better than some % THC claim, which is probably just the one tested for competition....

I went with ILGM the first time I purchased seeds online simply because their website's impressive (i.e., they didn't seem like a scam).

i bought 10 gg#4....all 10 sprouted... then got the 20 for 100$ bruce banner... im 2 for 2 with them, I honestly think it has much to do with the germinators and/or trolls on RIU...not ILGM seeds, 12 germed in a row for me...I think luck is out of the question... the GG was super dank...BB is like week 3-4 flowering right now, so ill let you know if its trash....but..... even with LST pretty heavy.. its over 2 ft tall and I can tell already... is going to be tight big buds.....And my thoughts are....Yeah so what, their genetics are reproducions....not 100% the true cut, but its dank.. I find it funny darkhorse was railing on ilgm and copycat seeds in some youtube video.......knowing hes sold his strain and it can be reproduced to 99% his strain.,... but w.e....Here is the gg#4 was easilly 20% thc.. this was like 2 wks before harvest.. only pic i got on my phone.

Use a moist paper towel inside an open ziplock. You want to give a seed a moist, aerated environment, not drown the damn thing.

Same issue. All the seeds I tried, failed to germinate (3 strains). THEN I saw all the people with the same issues and THEN I saw that they want you to jump through hoops to get their seeds to pop. Done.
I've never had problems with any other beans.
There's a reason they have to replace so many seeds. They'd be out of business if they didn't.

Absolutely spot on.Stay far away from ilgm.
Got a starter pack 15 seeds 150.Got em rite
away and knew what it was from the rattle in
the package.Tiny I mean tiny seeds had me
thinkin scam rite off.After tenth day i had 6
germinated and none sprouted.Got a real
hard time from “customer service”! and they
told me to ship the duds back and they’d
replace em.Most likely with more duds.
Bogus outfit / money grab /SCAMM!
