Illadelph / Salt Collab Photo shoot

I started my awesome new job last week of web / database admin & photographer for a glass wholesaler. This is the sickest piece that i have taken shots of yet so I hope there are more to come!! Anyhow as the tittle sais, Illi collaborated with Salt to make a couple of these sick tubes. If you want to see the sister tube it can be found @ illadelphonline.com

This is really the first time I got to use the nikon d2x, and im not a pro photographer either so please dont be harsh but suggestions are always welcome I was overly temped to fire up a bowl with it when my boss went to lunch but well i would like to take more photos like these in the future lol

lol yes they are, the straights and beakers arent too awful in price but when you go coil condenser the price hikes right up... go take a look @ the retail price of the other collab at the Illi online store

That is beautiful I just could never see myself spending 6 grand on a bong.

I could! if i had that kind of cash to play with absolutely in a heart beat would drop it on such a nice piece.

3tree perks? might want to put some water in it and give a whirl first... they have a lot of drag to them, I gave mine away to a friend in need. that and i wasnt interested in puncturing a lung pulling it either! to each their own, but I say if your going to buy a half way decent piece you might as well save and get a straight/beaker illadelph with a trash can. Toro is also an option! you cant really trust the "roors" sold in the US because most are roor.us tubes and rip offs at that. look to spend around 400 and you will find many very well made functional glass. These glass companies arent making cheap chinese glass, there is a reason they are expensive. you should go down to a head shop worth a shit and ask to add some water to a phx 3tree perk and a top of the line tube, see for yourself. If the shop doesnt carry top of the line glass your in the wrong shop!

You must be kidding me. I smoke my buddy's PHX a million times and it hits lovely (it's a triple perc too). While true it is harder to hit, but you have to remember it's triple perc'ed and it's like 2-3 feet long. Any bong like that will be harder to hit. I'd say it is the second greatest smoking equipment I've used next to a volcano. The volcano owns all sorry thats the truth; it's so clean, no coughing, and the high is so clear. However every now and then you just want to rip a bong and on those occasions it's nice to have a solid piece.

I'm not ripping on your company. I saw the website, there is a ton of sick shit on it. If they had a triple peculated bong (in the neck) I'd buy one. I'm all about buying american made stuff. I don't like just straight bong necks and I don't want a shit ton of accessories hanging around my bong just waiting for a d-bag friend to break it.

RonJohn, 1st its not my company nor my website, im not trying to advertise illadelph i just thought i would share a nice piece with you all. 2nd legit PH(x) tubes are in the same league as other companies I was concerned about the trip perk in the neck. hitting them is like a tight doobie, its fairly smooth but that can be achieved a number of different ways without sacrificing drag.

There is nothing wrong with cheap glass if your not really interested, having friends that arent careful with others belongings is not tolerable. Friends use my glass all the time however they understand the cost involved and have yet *knock on wood* broken any of my stuff. I take the tubes on short trips, festivals, small parties.
