Illegal state, cops enter home for gas leak, I'm out of state

Just got home, nothing is disturbed. Cut my half grown plant down ;_; god she smelled good.

Any suggestions for getting rid of the plant remains? I'm stuck between wanting to just throw them out but worried about the smell + garbage searches are legal. Typically I just put the remains down the garbage disposal but I have too much and it's too fresh for that. Could put it in with the compost, or let it dry some so it'll go down the disposal, but that keeps it on site for longer.

One nice thing about my city is that possession of pretty much any amount of flower is not prosecuted, so once I get the roots and stem gone I'm golden (I think).
Toss it in a public garbage the day of pickup, or a fast-food dumpster. Good luck :bigjoint:

Really no need to pack it in just get a hemp strain and practice with it for that year.
One could grow hemp with no thc and be legal (some states could have a little THC but Kansas for example it's 0 allowed in CBD products), still could have a hassle of having to deal with proving in court that there was no THC. Once done then the cops would likely have a harder time convincing a judge to provide a search warrant on that grower again.

i dont usually stir pots. but are you saying she's crazy for believing in white privilege? because later in the same sentence you seem to confirm that its a real thing. or you're just upset that she was so real about it?

btw all love for everyone. just curious.
No it’s crazy she thinks because she’s middle aged and white that she can’t be locked up for growing weed. Maybe the best word to use maybe would’ve used SAD. It’s sad that we live in a world were white people know that privilege exists but will act like it doesn’t but in turn make statements like she made. But I’m probably just upset that she was so blunt about it lol

haha yeah i feel ya. i agree that's sad that people use it to their advantage when they need it and then like to pretend it doesn't exist when they don't need it. but we have no evidence that OP is like that, maybe shes just super blunt and real. anyways i was just curious thanks for the reply.

I don't think I can't be locked up, just that it HELPED my chances, just like it being Christmas Eve probably helped my chances, as did the reason they were in my house. It also probably helped that my "Black Lives Matter" protest sign was upstairs instead of in the living room, and it probably hurt a bit that I have so much queer pride shit lying around. IMO being blunt about privilege is better than pretending it doesn't exist.

I grew up watching my brother get away with things like shoving a police officer, having multiple ounces of weed on him in high school, and other nonsense that a poor black kid would go to jail for; it is fucked up, and I do what I can to change it (mostly attending protests and donating money to BIPoC), but I'm not gonna pretend my skin color and access to money doesn't influence how I get treated by law enforcement.

I am sorry I made you upset though; I was trying to help manage my anxiety by listing the things I had going for me, not waving my privilege in anyone's face.

I do have a bunch of hemp seeds; however my understanding is you need a permit from the Department of Agriculture to grow hemp. I appreciate the suggestion though

Well the only part of cultivating cannabis thats actually illegal is the THC. So provided the strain has no THC then you are OK. Federally the limit is 0.4% THC. Kansas has stricter rules and they allow 0%, so no trace of THC. Not sure what state you are in.

I knew a buddy that was popped with 3 pounds of bud in his trunk but it was garbage. The charges were dropped after his attorney asked for the THC% numbers and they tested it and found it wasn't above 0.4% (it was ditch weed he had picked).

My dad lives in Illinois and got raided they found 9oz and he wasn't home. The cops took 6 of the nine oz and left him 3 oz. Why? I have no idea but I think they where looking for some real drugs. Lol

Illinois allows purchase of medical amounts up to one ounce. I am not sure how much they allow for possession? Perhaps the 3 ounces was the legal amount he could have in his home? I hope they left the best 3.

I’m not upset and feel no way about your statement it’s the truth and it was just shocking to see. But you don’t have to explain to me how you help POC, I hope everything goes well for you and your grow.

Yeah that sounds more like the neighbors smelled the weed and wanted to get the police to find it.
I mean the gas company did work at my house, the sidewalk had been ripped open and repaired when I got back. So there was legitimately a gas leak. My smell doesn’t leak I have a large carbon filter

This was before any of the MM was in effect. But the way it was looking at the time it wasn't a priority for them and a year later the MMj cards where disbursed to a handful of ppl. So I don't think its what they where looking for. Now my dad does have a MM card but after all that red tape they made him walkthrough it turns out he either can't afford the good stuff or when he does get something he feels that his dealers shit is better. So oh well. Every time he sees me he asks me if a brought him a little something. I give him some of my old conneseur stash from 2011 and he tells me its fire compared to the stuff he gets. My old stash consists of granddoggy purp, gsc, buedream, ald some lavander. Its still fire from 2011, 2013, and 2014. I break out a nug off that when I feel like celebrating
